Collection: Jose Cuervo

Jose Cuervo is one of the oldest and most iconic tequila brands in the world, with roots dating back to 1758 when Jose Antonio de Cuervo received land from the King of Spain to cultivate agave in Jalisco Mexico. In 1795, the Cuervo family was granted the first official license to produce tequila, establishing a legacy that would shape the global tequila industry for centuries.

Produced in the historic town of Tequila, Jose Cuervo has remained family owned and continues to be crafted using Blue Weber agave grown in the rich volcanic soils of the region. The portfolio includes Especial, Tradicional, Reserva de la Familia, and other premium expressions. The aged tequilas develop smooth layers of vanilla oak caramel and spice, while the unaged expressions highlight vibrant agave and citrus character. Reserva de la Familia, introduced in 1995, marked a milestone as one of the first extra aged luxury tequilas.

Today, Jose Cuervo stands as the world’s best selling tequila brand, recognized for its heritage innovation and lasting influence on tequila culture worldwide.
