El Tesoro is a revered premium tequila brand founded in 1937 by Don Felipe Camarena in the highlands of Jalisco Mexico. The name El Tesoro, meaning the treasure, reflects the founder’s belief that true tequila is a priceless expression of land tradition and craftsmanship. Still family owned and produced at La Altena distillery, the brand remains dedicated to preserving traditional production methods passed down through generations.

Crafted from 100 percent Blue Weber agave grown in the mineral rich soils of Los Altos, El Tesoro Tequila is made using time honored techniques. The agave is slow cooked in brick ovens, crushed with a traditional tahona stone, naturally fermented, and double distilled in copper pot stills. These methods create a tequila known for its rich agave forward character, earthy depth, citrus brightness, and balanced peppery spice. The portfolio includes Blanco Reposado Anejo and Extra Anejo expressions, each aged thoughtfully to enhance complexity without masking the agave.
